What is the law with regard to the 90 day grace period after your LTC expires?

90 Day Grace Period
To qualify for the 90 day grace period following the expiration of a License To Carry (LTC), the holder of the license MUST submit his or her renewal application BEFORE the expiration date on the LTC. Below is the citation from current Massachusetts law. Note that all new LTCs are currently valid for 6 years.

Any renewal thereof shall expire on the anniversary of the licensee's date of birth occurring not less than 5 years but not more than 6 years from the effective date of such license. Any license issued to an applicant born on February 29 shall expire on March 1.
